The PICASSO Policy Expert Group chaired by Maarten Botterman (GNKS) and Dave Farber (Carnegie Mellon University) just released a Policy Brief on ICT Security and its interrelation with EU-US collaboration on ICT development, specifically related to developments in 5G Networks; Big Data and Cyber Physical Systems (including IoT). In view of the current state and expected evolution of the Internet and our increased dependability on this, it will be important for ICT specialists and policy makers alike to address the issues related to the vulnerabilities and challenges highlighted in the report.
